In September 2022, Silviahemmet visited Hattstugan in När on Gotland. The award-winning dementia care home was founded in 1994 by sisters Jane Lindell Ljunggren and Pia Lindell and has been for sale for two years ahead of the owners' retirement.
– It will still be Hattstugan. It's important that such a fine operation, with residents and staff who thrive so well, is able to remain on Gotland, says Wilhelmina Hoffman, who points out that Silviahemmet is a non-profit foundation with no profit motive.
Wera Welltech and VilMer have a close, existing collaboration with Hattstugan, and look forward to continuing to develop the partnership together with the new owners.
