Government grants for elderly care in 2026
The Swedish National Board of Health and Welfare is allocating SEK 3,998,500,000 to municipalities in 2026 through the grant for good health and social care for older people. Applications are closed. Requisitions were open from 16 February to 1 April 2026, and funds may be used from 1 January to 31 December 2026.
According to the Swedish National Board of Health and Welfare’s 2026 guidance, the grant may be used for person-centred dementia care, measures against loneliness, skills development and welfare technology development, among other things. The municipality must always assess planned costs against the applicable terms and avoid double funding.

What information is needed for a municipal quote?
Specify the products and quantities you want, plus company registration number, billing address, delivery address and any GLN information. Choose quote first in the form if you want to review the proposal before ordering.
Can a municipality start with a pilot?
Contact us if you would like to start at one unit or with a smaller group. Product selection, introduction and follow-up are planned together and specified in the quote.
Can the purchase be funded by a government grant?
The municipality must assess each cost against the current grant conditions itself. We can provide product information and quotes, but do not determine whether a particular cost is eligible for funding.
